I remember reading earlier on this year in Auto Express (I think that was the magazine) that Subaru were to launch a road Impreza towards the end of this year that would be bodywise a replica of the 03-04 shape World Rally Car, ie flared arches etc. I guess you could say like equivalent to the 22B was back then.

Is there any news on this? Would be good to see Subaru make this.

 

hasnt the my05 STI got the flared arches (mores so than the my03) whether they are to the same extent as the wrc car i dont know.

 

the05 does have a different arch but i would use the world 'flared' loosely! It is nothing like the WRC arches - if you do a search there are quite a few pics of the 05 on here
