Question

Hi there,
I am a newcomer to both this BBS and Scooby's, (although a friend has one and it is the effect of being pinned to the passenger seat with no control over what the lunatic did that urged me to get one!)

I should be taking delivery of a new UK Scooby turbo some time this week and I am looking for something that I can use to protect the bodywork from stone chips etc. The dealer mentioned a protective coating that goes onto the front 6" or so of the car but did not have the name or an accurate estimate of the cost. Does anyone have any ideas of products such as these?

Many Thanks

Two products worth considering, one is like amourfend but LOTS cheaper and guarnteed . It covers the top of the bonnet and wings and top and front edge of the bumper. The other is called Lacro bodyglaze, this is a chemical treatment ( 6 year guarntee)which will protect your paintwork against bird sh*t, tree sap, railway fall out, etc and they can scotch guard the seats and carpet too. I've got it on my car(Scooby) and my girlfriends(Micra 16v!!).This stuff also cuts down on the cleaning and keeps your new motor shiney.
If you want it done let me know....

Hi,

I suggest doing a "search" on the BBS re-amourfend, as not all feedback on this product is positive!
