I've had very bad dealings with AF in the past. Their information handling was pathetic and every year I had to send a copy of my license for some weird and wonderful reason, they cancelled my insurance without notice and when I phoned up to query this they said it was a computer error and not to worry, the very next week another letter was posted to me stating my insurance was being cancelled again, another computer error!!! In the end I gave up and went elsewhere.
Don't know what they are like today though but I'm sure someone will let you know.

Cheers, Rob.

For a company that is suppose to be a "performance specialist", their customer service at quote stage is crap.

rang them yesterday for a quote on my GTi-6 and I wasnt impressed. Got transferred about 4 times, then got put through to a company that quoted me more then double my renewal quote.

i had trouble years ago with them, they said i never paid them(when i did) and unfortunately never told me until i phoned for renewal a year later.
so i drove for a year without insurance, they even sent me a policy, and i had proof that i had paid.

I tried to get a quote on line last night, having previously filled out a "contact me" form from their website, where i never heard a thing from them.

Long story short, having filled everything out the site crashed. Oh and i didn't notice it was a secure site either.

There's a lot of other places out there...

That's a good quote considering your age and low no-claims. Would Diamond be able to help you?

Best.
