please can you tell me which lense should be the driving light and which should be the main beam as i dont think mine are wired correctly

Paul the main beam is to Top one and the dip is the Projector lens. IIRC

the ones i have are side by side
they have a projector lense on the outside, and then a lense on the inside with a light and a parking light in it

normally the parking light and dip is in the same lense?

at the moment they are wired with the dip as the projector lens but seem
very poor

dipped is the outer one on its own, parking light is in same lense as full beam.
You have the Prodrive 300 headlamps, try changing the dipped bulb for a better one.
