Default gear box oil

what should i be using to top up the gear box oil on my MY95 import?

Erm! Tramsmission oil is always a good idee hee hee hee!!! I use Silkolene Syntran 5 Synthetic 75w-90 £8.99 a litre and also goes in rear diff. Expensive for manual gearbox as uses 4 litres if drained. Rear diff only takes 0.8 litres. But hey you dont need to change it very often really. Most cars never change gearbox oil!
