That's probably about right I'm afraid mate, that's the downside of Scooby Ownership! If it makes you feel any better, I pay double what you've been quoted.
Have you tried Privilage and Admiral.

Best.

since i first owned any MY99 my insurance dropped by 400 pounds with elephant over the years, my new 04 cost me 10 pounds extra for the remainder of my premium about 7 months. I now pay 940 a year with 4 years ncb a band f postcode and an sp30. have to wait and see what my renewal will be.......

Try Privilege. My renewal and further quotes were pretty much the same as yours. I tried Privilege and was quoted ~£520 fully comp. I am a 26 year old Paramedic with 5 years NCD - 96 UK Saloon with Cat 1.

Seems about right to me. I'm always amazed at some of the quotes people post on here - I do wonder whether their insurers are really quoting on the right car and not a non-turbo car by mistake.

FWIW, I'm now 29 and paid about £900 on my MY00/PPP for the last couple of years (Greenlight and LV). My new car is an '05 JDM STI with remap & springs and I paid £1200 through A-Plan.

Most of the online insurers request your registration number which then selects the car's make and model automatically....at least every one I tried did.

Seems high - I pay 599 for an EVO 8 FQ330, 32 plus wife full ncb etc. Your postcode may be affecting the premium negatively.
