Surprised no one has mentioned this. If they have, forgive repetition.
A birmingham judge has ruled that speed cameras contrivine human rights and some rule of european law which we are linked to.
Similar to the scottish case won recently.
You apparently have the right ot to incriminate yourself as we knew, but the way that you receive a letter from the police telling you you hvae been flashed asking if it was you and informing you you will be prosecuted within six days cannot be classed as adminstrative procedure.
Police will have to change the way they do things.
Nothing is being changed for now according to police.
