Angry Its cheaper to get new policy.......

How the hell do these insurance companies work??

My renewal came through for £1164 .....thought that was a bit steep so I went to the same company and applied for a new policy with exactly the same details.......£874

How the hell can they justify the extra £290 to renew when they are offering me a new policy at that price

Think I will cancel the existing policy and take out the new one instead! Stupid bloody people!

One thing I have noticed, is that if you do a internet quote form, the figure excludes all the extras they throw on by default.

I got £940 back off the site, rang them up and said £1,350. Told them to take all the extras Hire Car, Breakdown etc, and came down to £1,050. Still £110 over but they would NOT budge.

Seem to be the common thing these days, If you want to upgrade ya mobile, they sting you for doign so, signup on new contract (paying exactly the same) and they'll give you phone free!!!! customer loyalty is great.
