Default Norwich Union and Quote me Happy ah, ah, ah

Guy i work with has got a Suzuki Vitara. Hes 54 years old, full no claims and a Truck Driver like me. Suzuki is 3 years old. So he called Quote me happy. His premium from his present company was going to be £320 per annum. When he called Quote me happy they wanted £480 per annum. Guy on the phone said to him, Is that acceptable Sir.I won,t put in here what his reply was but it was something along the lines of

No it xxxxin isn,t. I thought this was quote me happy no quote me xxxxin miserable

My MY99 came out cheaper than that at £430 F/C F/N/C with Spouse and Im a truckdriver also at 44 years

They quoted me happy alright. I couldn't stop laughing for 10 mins. My existing premium was £700'ish for an 03 Sti PPP. Norwich Union's "happy quote" was £3800.

quote me happy is a joke, i had the same thing got quoted £1800 went to adrian flux got it for £1050. they should be sued under the tades description act

just a note to say, nelson on www.subaru-impreza.org is a insurance officer and he told everyone on there never ever get protected no claims on your policy it isn't worth the paper its wrote on seriously. they will still put your insurance up if you have an accident. he said its just a scam that every insurance do, to make you pay more for your insurance total bill

Yeah, my renewal with Elephant is £913. NU Direct want £776. Not a bad saving I think.

That's obvious ! You crash, you still have your NCB but your premium will go up as you have a history of accidents !!!
