i found a bat under mine last week. Anyone else found anything?

 

once got a ickle birdie stuck on the scoop,its legs were inside and its head etc where stuck on the edge looking at me through the window,it didnt look very happy

 

My hand, was cleaning the car and noticed a little leaf so thought I would grab it. Put my hand in and nooooooooo couldn't get it out, big gash across my wrist was the result. Bit like the curtain ring.....but that's another story

my car seems to be a bit of a bird killer.......

don't think i've killed any wildlife in the previous 13 years then 2 birds in the last year and or so

Pain in the butt picking feathers out the intercooler though....

But yours seem to stay roughly in one piece - mine seem to splatter into thousands............. More crumbly breed I guess

 

I took mine out an hour after impact at the Reading Services someone thought it was a Scooby snack

 

My scoop seems to collect bees
Every week there are a couple of new ones in there

 

Had a bat on my intercooler too ..... it was led there with its wings outstretched.

 

Someone posted a pic of a half toasted blue tit on here last year.

Top side was little blue and yellow feathers and the underside was a flat chargrilled mess

 

I had Shergar in mine. made a right mess....

 

I once found a small family of refugees in mine ...

i once come thro my scoop-wink wink lol

 

I got a sparrow though the small gap in the STi covers where the fog lights would be. Whole bird pushed though a 10mm gap, nasty, poor thing.

This is really not giving me any confidence in becomming a scooby owner as i have a very bad WING PHOBIA!!!!! and a BAT would freek me out!!!

my mates a mechanic for Audi...
often cars come in with loss of power after stripping the engine
he often finds birds and rats in the engines......... funnily enough hes neva found a dead ones!!!! lolz

 

Bees, wasps, leaves...never want to find a bat!

Last winter had a bit of a bad kebab smell in the car everytime the car got warm.... damn awful smell.....


Finally when I could be arsed took a look under the bonnet.....


Fried hedgehog on the turbo......... how ****e did I feel...

Felt pretty crappy about that one..... wife even refused to ride in the car!
The smell lasted forever... haunting me with guilt!

Not nice..... really not nice.....

Obviously didn't come through the scoop!

Plenty of Pigeons in the radiator grill - damn things fly up then right at me.

The only thing I've found in the scoop is the head off a Chaffinch - no body just the head.....

 

I had a Stag Beatle in mine with the Big Horns !! Smelt nasty when it was cooking .... ?!!
