My Gtech gives me a BHP at wheels of 198 (based on 1552kg weight of Forester + me).

It's got a full decat, scoobysport backbox and green filter.

I would expect it to me somewhere around 250 at the flywheel.

Does this soun about right?

 

Put my 97 S/tb with mods on a couple of different RRs last year.
Both came back with 169 bhp @ wheels but one made it 203 @ fly and the other 260 @ fly.
The car only had a filter, Samco,H & S rear box, up-pipe & P1 d/pipe mods with Optimax.

I think the 198 @ wheels is high and should be around 175-180 bhp.
The hybrid TD04 gives very high low down torque but runs out of puff earlier than a std TD04, so you'll not match 97 wRX figures for a decat.
As for fly bhp - well take your pick! Perhaps 275 bhp?

I'm going to give it a re-run at the weekend with a more accurate weight figure.

Did yours have a full decat?

 

Still had the downpipe cat fitted.
