Hi all,

Checking my tyre pressures at work this morning and found the gold paint 'Flaking' off my Wheels...... Bummer !!

This is the second time it's happened and the cars only travelled 6500 miles from new.(march 00)

It appears they must be a dodgy batch of wheels around........

Glad to say however the dealer just offered to replace the wheel without batting an eye.

anyone else had similar probs.

i have got the same problem with it bubbling up around the centre cap on my n/s front.......shame innit!. Dealer will sort it out this week!

Beware when getting one replaced in isolation as the batch numbers mean possible shade of paint differences!

 

There is "slight" bubbling round the centres of mine (14 months old). Not that much but enough to annoy, considering how well I look after the car! Doubt if I could go back after this much time. I'd have thought that they should have been OK for a couple of years.
