Can't be a genuine UK car if it's sonic blue. Must either be an Irish or European import to UK spec!

 

Currently the parallel imports from Holland are about £16k new perphaps a few K less than this would be a fair price.

I beg to differ.

I have a Sonic Blue MY98 which came from Northern Ireland. They do get them from Southern Ireland, but it is a full UK spec, sold through a dealer and got full Subaru Warranty and back up.

And I've put this to the test this week at SGT in Maidenhead with a 22.5K service and warranty work. They checked their computer as they had never seen a Sonic Blue UK car (except limited editions) but Subaru Computer listed it as a UK car.

As an aside I have only ever seen Sonic blue cars with what is a "Terzo spec", i.e Gold Wheels, Aircon, Colour Coded skirts and mirrors, alcantara interior and fixed rear seat.

I would not expect the value to be much higher than a UK car in any other colour, but the colour, wheels and aircon may help to shift it a bit quicker than everyone else's.

 

The car was bought new in N.Ireland.

This is a uk colour but apparantly it is not sold on the mainland, only in Ireland. It is a uk car, N.Ireland is still part of the uk unless I have missed the news today.

It has 2.5 years warranty because, yes, you guessed it's a
