Question Oil Leak

We noticed a small patch of oil on the road under the front of the car that has obviously leaked from a MY00, we checked the oil and it seems fine. Any ideas as to what this may be?

Well noticed another smallish patch this morning, so it could be something more serious then.

Any ideas? Also can an oil related leak be covered by extended warranty?

Will try and get under the car tonight, looks like it may be coming from the sump plug area, (initial thought).

ok, managed to look under the car albeit by parking one wheel on kerb. The small leak appears to be coming from the sump plug, although feeling around it, i couldn't see any more oil leaking. BUT i noticed a small minute rust spot on the surface of the sump area, though no leaks again from the area. Could it be a one off?
