Default Has anybody fitted...........

....prodrive springs on an 03 sti and not changed theyre wheels to 18's as everybody seems to do the 2 together. Only im having 2 new struts on the back of mine(due to the good old rattle and knock arsend)and thought i would get the springs fitted at the same time but cant really justify the wheel money. are they ok with the 17's is my question really.
all advice much appreciated
Andy

apparently, what i've heard (but don't take it for granted (standard disclaimer etc etc)), 18"s is a recommended upgrade, but not essential.

Surely the dealer should be able to tell you this?

I did exactly as described. Prodrive springs on an '02 STI staying with the std wheels. No experience of the 18's so can't compare but this is a worthwhile upgrade IMO. Cured nearly all the bounciness and the car looks way better.
