Default Downpipe. what else is needed

I have a 02 bugeye wrx.

Mods so far, Nurspec Backbox, unknown brand centre section decat.
HKS SSQV dump valve.

Done 22k miles.

After some more power, so thought i'd go the downpipe decat.
What else do I need, Knock Link? Any other changes? What power + can i expect, and will my car go pop. Can't really afford it to die on me, and don't want to push the engine to its extremes, just something more pokey would be nice.

Advice please!

the up pipe, from what ive been told its very unadvisable to to the downpipe and leave the up standard as the cat in the up pipe starts to break down and will destroy the turbo.

So the best idea is to get both and map it.

Stick an induction kit and an uprated fuel pump to that lot and you will have a monster on your hands!! Your engine will still be fine, it will be running like it was designed to, without those restricting air boxs and exhaust sections/cats!!

I wouldnt recommend the induction kit...........the newage ecus do NOT like them without remap, something to do with the MAF sensor. Fuel pump is a yes though, but the bottom line is remap, then you get the best out of the car, just bolting things on doesnt do a lot in general and can end up doing more harm than good.
