I currently have a MY00 PPP running a full Decat, STI Panel filter. Whilst the car goes well I found (having taken her for a blast across the moors) that it isn't as quick as I first thought I know the temperature is up at the moment but the car did seem to struggle at times to propel itself when coming on and off boost, whilst travelling across undulating roads. So I am really wanting a bit more low down torque and a better power delivery. I did have to drill out the restrictor on my current setup cos I was having problems when first decatted and I do know this can give a slightly slower boost response ??

I am really not keen on going the Unichip (piggyback) route and would like to know what options I have for upping the game so to speak. I am not wanting to plough loads of money into the car with the likes of GEMS, FMIC etc etc. Would it be better for me to remove the PPP ECU purchase a 2nd hand 99/00 standard ECU and EcuTek it ?? I am really looking for some ideas guys
