i downloaded kaza(big mistake i know) and then had problems with permitting and blocking certain files through norton. i ended up being able to use kazaa but not be online at all. no msn, internet or mail. so i removed kazaa and norton and it seemed ok. things are different though. for some reason when i try to go on ebay it redirects me to some shopping site, but there is just a white screen that comes up or just keeps me on the same site but has the shooping address on the search bar. i'd also rather have no pop up's and no ad banners. so i thought i'd do a system restore(first time i've done it), but it won't do it as "nothing has changed" i have chosen about 4 different restore points from the calender and no change. i just want it back the way it was before kazaa was installed. any idea's?

 

Download & run Spybot and also Adaware to remove the spyware & adware off your pc. They are both free. Be sure to update them after you install them

iain't very good at this stuff bud, but i do know i have spybot how do i update it before i instal it tho?

 

Update after you have installed them.

Spybot has a search for updates tab & adaware has a check for updates now tab

 

have you considered you might of downlloaded a virus/trojan/worm as a lot of these stop you from doing system restores

 

it did tell me i had a trojan virus, aye

 

and where on adaware can i stop the ad banners showing?
