hi guys ,can someone please tell me , what the black plastic cylinder type thing situated on the n/s of engine bay close to the headlamp is, it has two pipes going in and one coming out of the bottom ,anyone? cheers kev

 

opps forgot ,car is 93 wrx

 

Carbon cannister. Its there to help the car pass emission tests etc..
Fuel tank etc vents into it.
