To go with the Cusco strut brace I got at JAE, today I had the following done at Powerstation:

Whiteline Anti-lift/Caster kit.
Whiteline 22mm Adjusible rear swaybar.
Whiteline Solid drop-links front and rear.

I already have their bumpsteer-removal mod done, and I had to have four-wheel alignment done again after having the above goodies fitted.

I running prodrive suspension BTW.

Well what can I say?, it's absolutely awesome. The bumpsteer mod got rid of most of the power-understeer, but it would still understeer when entering bends too quickly.

But after having that lot fitted I have no understeer atall now, I went into a roundabout that I normally get understeer on if I enter it too quickly, but instead of getting understeer the front end just went directly where I wanted, and the back end stepped out a little, so much more fun

The steering response is now lightening-quick, it's just so responsive. I also have more steering feel, I can actually feel the texture of the road through the wheel, and because of the Poly bushes I can also feel it through my ****, it's awesome. It stays really flat through the corners, and also stays flat when accelerating.

It's basically like driving a big go-cart now, it's just incredible

Does anyone have anything bad to say about anti lift and drop links? I've only heard good so far

Is it necessary to have prodrive springs or will this work show improvement even on the standard suspension?

AFAIK It will still show an improvement even on standard suspension.

The only bad point I can think of is you feel more road vibration, but that doesn't bother me.

 

I am glad to here this Drex - I am serisouly considering putting some of my hard earned into my Scoob and as she is running the Prodrive Setup I was interested in knowing the results. Sounds like you are pleased with the new setup Did the Front strut brace make a big difference to begin with ??

Nelson, I fitted the Strut brace today just before I went to Powerstation, so I didn't get a chance to see how it felt on it's own, as I had a steady drive there.
