Angry CHECK ENGINE LIGHT HELP!!!!! SINCE CLUTCH FITTED

I had a clutch fitted today and picked the car up all seemed fine, Until i was half way home the speedo stopped working and then the check engine light came on, It wont go out is permantly on and the car is in safe mode PLEASE COULD SOMEONE Reasure me the two are linked as i wont sleep tonight

they have not secured the speedo cable correctly from the info you've posted...........................as soon as the ECU stops seeing the "speed" signal it brings the CEKL on..............just run it back and get them to sort

as below get them to secure cable again then disconnect battery for about 20 mins this will reset engine light.(make sure you have radio code mate)
