Subaru Impreza Turbo UK 1994 240+bhp

Owned for past 3 1/2 years. Not chipped or boost increased or ecu played around with. UK so cheaper insurance.

Still for sale. Cant understand why no-one wants it. Maybe coz everyone on here already has a Scooby!

dont want to be negative but
if it hasn't had ecu,boost or other stuff done to it how can a uk car of that age run 240+bhp standard
just wondering
surely not on optimax alone

agree - if it not played with and it is uk car then it will be 208bhp

mind u te engne bay pic shows ac pump so must be a import i.e 240 bhp

but does not have bumper spates and has uk badge on back - wiered ???? is it an import or a uk????? did some uk have a/c i didn think so?

The 240+ bhp is from a rolling road test at Power Engineering, I have the results and graph to prove it. At the time it was fitted with a decat centre section (scoobysport) and STi rear box. These are still on the car. I have also had a downpipe decat added (scoobysport) since hence the 'plus' in the 240+. It did make an increase but have not had it rolling roaded since to know exact figures. Incidently, I do run it on Optimax.

As for is it UK car? - Yes, definately, but fitted with Air-conditioning I belive at the time of purchace.

fair enough but a full decat is hardly standard
as for uk cars mine has ac and its a my94
also been told that it is 1 of the first 100 uk cars to be fitted with ally bonet

anyway good luck with the sale
