Default De cat & ecu

Finaly i'm geting my 93 De cated
But do i need to reset my ecu after?
If so how long does the (learning) take?
reson being:
The bride drives the car 5 days a week 4 mile round trip never above 40 so never even spool's up (unless fighting for parking spaces )
so is a weekend of my right foot enough? or any other advice

cheers all
