Default 2door vs 4 door classic differences?

My friend is after a jap import MY00 type R, we were wondering about body parts differences between the 2 door and 4 door, are the front and rear windscreens the same? I assume the only differences are the doors and rear panels (and related trim). Is this the case? Or can someone list all the notable differences in parts?
Thanks

If its the STi type R it will have different diff due to the DCCD iirc the glass is a lightweight replacement for the standard glass for weight saving. Also the glass will be tinted black on the type r not 100% sure the 4 doors are (back and rear) other than that they are pretty much the same in terms of engine and box

and the biggest difference is that the 2 door is far superior in looks to the 4 door varient

type rs have a close ratio gear box with a 19.8mph/1000 rpm in fifth, apart from the v limited version 5 and 6 which are type r 1-4 and normal 5.

Rear diff is normally an r180 plated lsd matched to a dccd but not exclusively. Those with this rear diff will not have abs and will have sliding rear calipers instead of two pots and will not have the uprated rear driveshafts that that r180 diffs have.

Non sti type rs can have standard drivetrains with 4 door centre and rear diffs, a version 5 wrx type r is apart from the engine, to all intents and purposes, a p1!

We have an sti V5 typer and im thinking of getting another Subaru for the household.. Im/have been wanting or looking at classic sti type RA's for some time now.. But ive always preferred 2 doors.. Should i let that put me off..

I still don't believe all the "lightweight glass" bollox, has anyone actually weighed the glass in an RA/Type R?

I'm lead to believe that the later spec C has lighter glass but the classics don't..

The STI RA's have some parts that are standard over the optionals on the type R's (quick rack steering for instance which really does make a difference ) but go for a 4 door its more practical and you get the option of swapping and changing when you feel like it
