Let me know when its all sorted , cardiff bay sounds nice but dont know what the grubs like, mango gets my vote cos I know its good I"m going to try it out tonight again!!!!!

 

Cardiff bay is superb, great food and service. Although it is slightly more pricey than your average indian restaurant. But worth it.. The chinese there is also very good, but expensive!
Whats the service like in mando these days it used to be shocking! when they are busy you can be waiting ages for your food, locally i prefer the new one in chepstow or the one on the roundabout on the way to chepstow.

Service can be a little slow when busy but if you book and avoid the 11pm pub fallout its fine, at least you know that the chicken is chicken and that the only thing in your curry is ..curry if you know what I mean.

 

Jimbo, you sound like you are fairly local mate! Where abouts you based then??

P.s. I'm easy with either location!!

 

I am in Undy/Magor area Trigster.......... Used to go to alot of the Wilshire/south west meets months back but work took over and havent been for a while... Also have property in cardiff and the wife is from there so know that area well.. Another good indian on city road in Cardiff is the bay of bengal.. parking an issue there also....:-(

I agree the food is good at mango but i just cant hack the service anymore, we used to go there at least once a week with friends etc and it got embarassing after a while, so we tend to goto cardiff now or the indian empire on the way to chepstow..

Definitely coming up time for a Chepstow/Magor/Undy/Caldicot and Newport mini-meet!!! There are seemingly loads of us from around here on SN now!!!
