Angry Big PITA

In a thread a few weeks back, but hit a dog who ran out in front of me. Broke my number plate

Need number plate for MOT, but

you cannot get a numberplate without producing a V5 & your driving licence!!

Not even, turn up with car, look out window, see broken plate and do

What a waste of time

Didn't see your last thread but assume your V5 is with DVLA or something similar.

You can always get a plate made up from fancyplates.com - don't need any i.d. and delivered to your door within a couple of days for about £25.00

Yeah I had this a couple of weeks back.

Next door neighbour was reversing her Saxo into a space big enough for a bus and she reversed into the front of my Scoob - her towing hook cracked my number plate so off I go to Halfords to get another made (20 min drive thro town at 4pm).

Get there to be told that I have to produce the above docs!! What?

So off I go again another 20min drive back to get them and then 20 min back, get plate made up and then yes you guessed it 20 min drive back!!!!

So basically 80 mins of sitting in traffic cos they put some daft rule change in

Enjoyed the Scoob Sound tho

Your life is so ****! Not more rules for us to have to live by. Hardly worth getting out of bed in a morning.

When will they realise that rules only effect the honest person and not the criminals, it is a bit like all the Gun and Knife amnesties! the police cheer because they get a gun of the street that belongs to an old soldier or war veteran or a guy from a gun club with a registered weapon, when further down the road there is a drive by shooting perpetrated by a hood with an unregistered weapon. It makes you wonder what goes through the minds of the people who make these stupid rules.
