Question Window tints,shatterproof?

Hi
After last nights jacking event,my two front windows will have to be tinted again,my original tint film held the shattered window together from splintering on me.
But before i had my last tints done im sure i read about a tint that also acts as a protective layer over your window to make them unable to be broken. The copper today told me he had heard of it,but the firemen dont like it due to not being able to smash front windows in car wrecks.
Is there such a thing or did i have a vivid dream,i doubt whether it would be cheap but got to be easier and safer than replacing windows if it ever happened agai.
Regards
Gene

Pentagon fit some sort of film that doesn't enable access to the vehicle when the glass is broken but I know no more than that.

security film on a frameless window is pretty pointless really, cos there is nothing to hold the film and glass together.
It may hold the toughened bits together in a break, but that's about it.
