On a recent meet I saw a scoob with some clear headlight covers/protecters. You can hardly notice them and seem to me to be a worthy investment - especially as I seem to be more stone chip prone than others!
Where can I get these? From a dealer or is there a cheaper way? Are they available for pre-facelift models?

I got some from my dealer - they simply clip on. You can either get the completely clear ones or ones with a carbon effect around the edge - I went for the carbon ones and although they are a bit more noticeable but my car is silver and it actually looks prety good.

I think they cost around £30. You can also get matching ones for the fogs as well.

Not sure about the pre-facelift bit though.

i bought some today 6-7-00 from Sparshatts of Botley they cost me £51 quid that was for all four but i was amazed when they bought them to me, they asked if it was an import (it is an import MY 94 WRX)no i said. It has writen on the box Headlight covers for WRX
They wont sell you parts for an Import but they are prepard to sell WRX parts

I can confirm that they fit pre and post facelift cars. I took both the headlight
and foglight covers off my previous 97R and fitted them to my 00W with no problems.
