I’ve been reading the posts for a couple of weeks now as I’ve decided to start trying my hand at some mods/DIY. Problem is my pride and joy is now 5 years old and is starting to show signs of wear, none more so than today as I crawled home with smoke pouring out of the bonnet. The culprit this time was a radiator hose which had perished and was squirting coolant into the engine bay. Fortunately I was only 5 (motorway) miles from home when the first plumes where noticed and the coolant level whilst low had not drained completely by the time I got home.



My question is, and please remember I new to all this (and the group) what hose upgrades can I get (samco only seem to be for WRX/STI for MY99 and I’ve got a standard job) or what would people recommend?

Will the Sti kit (TCS87/C) fit my standard MY99? Surfing around I have only been able to find that one. Any good stockists around?

The water hoses should be the same for all MY99 cars UK/WRX/STI.
It's the intercooler hoses that are different.
