Lightbulb Fitting an Oil Pressure Gauge

Any handy tips an fitting an analogue oil pressure / temperature gauge (obvious and muppett tips not necessary - before ya start!)

Is there a thread anywhere detailing the mini project?

There is a guide somewhere not got the link on my work PC, will post tonight unless anyone else has it.
However fitted a pressure gauge myself at the weekend and found a major issue, the sender will not fit under the alternator. Now either need to find a smaller sender or get some sort of extension for it to move away from under alternator.
