Hi Brian and others who have asked about the VOS chip in my car..

I use it. Very, very happy with the gains. Full details are available from Adrian Vos, dsigner and builder of the chip.

Some brief info

* Chips cost about 150 UK.
* Shipping is about 10days.
* Chip simply plugs in and takes 20mins to fit.
* Dependant on your ecu type you may have to solder the chip in. Which is easy, but can be also done at a tv type repair shop too.

Website details: www.rslibertyclub.org
email : mailto:vosadrian@yahoo.com.au

The chip fits: Legacy and Impreza models to 96. Check out the RS Liberty club for details of performance gains. I will have my car to a dyno soon to measure the output. But the difference to a already quick car was massive. I am greatly impressed and would say it is the best money i have spent on any automotive product. The difference is huge and all round driveabillity is transformed.

Adrian Vos is a top guy, and will answer all your questions..you wont have any problems with the purchase or support.

Fit it and enjoy...

Sorry to butt into your thread can I just ask would it make a difference to my J-Reg Legacy Turbo. I already have a 'Superchip' on mine. Would replacing it with a VOS chip make a difference (Green Panel Filter, Mongoose Stainless steel exhaust, STi Clutch).

Thanks.

IMHO it would be safer if you remove the superchip and bleed device, and go for a "remapped" VOS chip or similar ... likely better performance and less likely chance of engine blow up.

If still not enough boost, look at a Dawes Device or clones of.
