Talking WARNING ABOUT THE IMPLICATIONS OF PUTTING BONNET PINS ON YOUR BONNET

WARNING

IF you are thinking about putting BONNET PINS on your bonnet please be aware that it voids any claim which you might have with that bonnet in the future !
I know this, as this is exactly what has happened to me !

So please decide whats important to you, in my opinion safety or warranty!

why would bonnet pins be an advantage to road cars? the bonnet latch already has a safety mechanism.

There was a case here where a guy hit a pedestrian and the injuries were deemed to have been exacerbated by the competition spec stuff. Cut the person up quite badly IIRC. Dunno what the results of the hoo-ha were, but what do insurance companies have to say about them in the UK I wonder...
