Default Subaru Proven Warranty

As some of you will know I have just become the proud owner of a My00 Silver Scoob. A couple of days ago I received a letter through the post asking me if I wanted to take out an additional year’s warranty. They are offering me this for £334.

Is it worth buying it now or should I wait until my first year is up for renewal?

Has anyone had any work done under the warranty before, if so, what?

Phill

I would imagine it would depend on whether or not you intend to modify your new car in any way,if not then I would seriously consider the Subaru option

If you currently have a third party warrenty, then that,in my opinion is about as about much use as an ashtray on a motorbike

Do you know anyone that's made use of the warranty?

I had a big end rebuild under warranty.
The car had 40k on it at the time. I had only put about 2k on it after purchasing as subaru approved. All work was carried out without any argument.
