Default You, The Viewer, Must Decide....

Ok I have the chance to buy some Proline alloys...cheap. Now, me being the pikey I am I can't decide whether to keep the standard alloys or buy the Prolines. Which wheel do you guys think looks best?

Thanks for any input.

I like the style of the gold alloys better BUT just not in gold on a silver car.

Prefer the style of the gold alloys but you need to get an anthracite/silver version ... we all know gold alloys on anything other than WR Blue are for pimps, dealers 'n sharks

/flame suit on
/bunker sealed
/fingers in ears chanting "La la la ... I'm not listening"

The silver ones look better, but if you can, find some anthracite ones. You could try getting your current ones re-furnished. I've got a MY00 silver scoob and the owner b4 me had kurbed the wheels (17" pro-drive ones) so I had them re-furnished in anthrocite - looks pretty good. Depends where you go (I had mine done by the garage so not sure where they sent them) but prob cost around £80-100 a wheel.

I agree that anthracite would look the best, if I leave my silver ones that dirty with the brake dust on them they are kinda already anthracite

I think I am leaning towards not buying the Prolines(£150 for all 4 by the way).

Thanks for your comments so far fellas.

Keep the originals unless you can get the prolines re-coated ( ) in silver.

The car does have a gold tint. Either that or I'm ****e with colours(which I am).

I thought maybe the contrast would be nice, I don't know now

Gold!!

And i really can't see too much difference apart from colour in the 2 styles anyhow...
So if gold are the new ones then yep there better as i think gold on silver looks the beez knees!

Everyone seems to have silver but gold on a Scooby is like we all know associated with there rallying heratige!
