Default Turbo Boost on a MY04 WRX

At what point does the turbo boost kick in on a MY04 WRX ?

Is there anyway to monitor the turbo boost ?

What type of turbo wastegate is fitted on the standard MY04 WRX ?

Is a boost gauge easy to fit ?

Would it affect my warranty fitting a boost gauge ?

Does that mean with a recirculating wastegate I don't get the 'wooooossshh' ?

boost gauge easy to fit, and I wouldn't imagine it would cause any warranty issues.

the 'whooooooosh' is from a vent to atmosphere dump valve matey
