You can get a standard clutch for 300 BHP, a lot of cars are running no problems with 300+

However, I've seen a lot of people recommend the exedy or AP kits at around £450. These are just as smooth as the standard clutch.

I have an AP Organic in my 314 bhp Stiv3. Smooth, strong and very positive bite to it. Easy to drive to Safeways too!

What more can you ask for?

Oh, has tolerated many standing starts in competition, 5000 rpm and dump the clutch..

I've just fitted the exedy clutch from api engines - 100 notes less than AP, but I've had no probs - quite a bit lighter than the old one and NO judder !

I also fitted the uprated bearing -
