Exclamation

I've just own my scooby for a week and thought it would be better to check all the fluids. Everything was fine except the gearbox wich was almost empty. The oil hardly reaches the low mark. My local subaru dealer answered it's probably because the oil is very fluid and that anyway if the gearbox is really empty, after 300 kilometers the whole transmission is completly " fried". I'll have the car checked by another dealer.
Did anyone allready have this kind of " problem"?

Laurent ( quite worried now)

Is yours a new car or "used"? I had a similar experience on my new "used" car (see earlier posting) and it too gave me a fright. Been told by others that the car consumes gear oil, so check it often.
BTW, you post is in the wrong section of the BB - Electrical?
