HI all,

Picked up a new sport and have a pair of 80/80 plasma blue bulbs from my old car ( not an Impreza ) had em in that for almost 10 months with no probs but want some advice...i know they fit and are off road use only etc but does anyone have em in now, and have they melted or damaged the h/lamp reflector or wiring and if not whats the longest you have you had em on main beam and dip ?

Thanx for the help
Kev

I use PIAA Plasma blues 60/55W which produce 110/100W using them in my STI V for about 10 weeks no problems and awesome, never timed how long they have been on for though.

Question

The obvious questions then have to be "How much?" and "Where From?"

Got mine from demon tweeks and they were about £70 with p&p i know grahame goode in leicester do them, as they stock the entire PIAA range ( they are a bit pricey as well ! ).
The output from the 80/80w is awsome...pure white light. Which begs the question as anyone fitted the plasma blue in the bottom fogs, 55w gives off 80w equivelent and are £25 each ! ( from grahame goode ).

I ordered PIAA Plasma blue 80W/80W bulbs from Graham Goode yseterday. They cost £60.68 + VAT, but they arrive today.

I'll let you know how I get on, but I bought them on Kev's recommendation.

Cheers

Err...well yes I have! The problem was that after switching off the driving lights, and go back to normal beam, it feels like I have no lights on!!

The ScoobySport driving lights are excellent, but it's just made me notice more that the normal headlights are well, for want of a better word, crap!

Thumbs up

I'd like to thank Kev for recommending the bulbs, they are damn fine!!!

I used the cheapie Halford ones before, but these make a huge difference! The PIAA plasma blue 80w/80w should be a must have.

Going up and down the Hogs Back was incredible. The light is so white and bright. It goes a sort of dirty yellow with the driving lights on, so I might have to change the bulbs in those as well!

Now what about side lights??? Anyone???
