I was just about to order a driving lamp conversion kit from Scoobysport when I discovered that MY98 clear protectors don't fit MY99, the lamp mounting points seems to be different.

Can anyone confirm if the conversion will fit MY99 or advise on how it's installed?

 

Are you talking about the clear fog lamp protectors, for the o/e foggies?

Perhaps they are a different design, but I've got clear protectors on my 99MY o/e fog lamps.

Can you get clear protectors for the Scoobysport driving lamps?

 

Yes John, I'm refering to the Subaru clear fog lamp covers.

 

The SS driving lamp kit does fit the MY99. And Pete does clear plastic protective covers for them. The covers are a better design than the Subaru ones IMHO, as they don't let water and crap between the lamps and the cover.
