Hi,

Before jumping in and buying a Dawes try the URL below, i highly recommend these as i had a dawes device before and i found the GBE MBC so much better...

Hi Greeno,

When you say so much better, how do you mean? I am genuinely interested in how the GBE controller which is based on a Dawes or a "Grainger" type valve can be "so much better".

I look forward to hearing more.

When i had my car 'tuned' at my local tuning company they said that the dawes was not controlling boost well at all, fluctuating all over the place, i fitted the GBE that i had sitting in my glove compartment and it solved the problem instantly, might just of been a dodgy dawes device but then again the GBE could of been better...

Interesting, we'll have to get hold of one for comparisons, but you're right the Dawes might have had a slight problem.

Thanks for your help!

although both are fairly simple valves, they do benefit from occasinal maintenance guys as they can get oily and sh*tty inside.
