Towbar Fitment

Hi, could somebody please confirm whether or not a towbar for a '00 classic will fit a '97 model. I'm assuming that both chassis are the same, but need to be sure before spening the ££.

I changed my towbar from a MY98 to a MY00 with no touble at all so I guess a 97 would also be the same
