Default Can you have PPP fitted to...............

A 51 plate WRX?.

If so what the expected BHP please?.

i think they are 218 standard, so i think it goes up to 248 with ppp afaik

Mine's a 51 plate UK WRX.

RRed at 240bhp, but the extra torque is what make it a nice mod

PPP can be fitted at a cost of £1600. Power is now 265 bhp same as MY03. Just had mine done.

didn't think it was as high as that otherwise it made it cheaper to buy a wrx and ppp it than it was to buy an sti and get the same power. always thought it was around the 245 mark

No, its approx. 261bhp : they now use the same ECU calibration on newly PPP'd 01/02 cars as they do on the 03. The old 'piggy-back' chip fitted on PPP during 2001 gave less power AFAIK.

There's more benefit to an STi than BHP. Still worth the extra.
