It's an angle exit exhaust with the most unbelievably low growl on tickover and slow cruise i have ever heard on an exhaust. Your teeth rattle in their sockets when this thing idles!

But heard this on a Classic wrx in Cambridge today. Have seen and heard this car about quite a bit and at last got a chance to speak to the very young lady driver. She told me it was a Kakimoto Racing exhaust from Japan, but that's all she knew.
I think its a type N1 which is sold in Japan and the USA.
She told me everyone stops to listen to this thing and asks her about it. It has an incredibly low, deep growl.

Go to Meercat exhausts down in Kilbirnie Willie will custom build you an exhaust sounding any way you want it ..............
Im thinking of a side exit with a remote wastegate pipe No silencer or baffles
