Sam, I've got Radius R3s and I think they are a very smart wheel on my silver UK00. I like the multi-spoke look, even if they're a pain to clean. Sorry no pics, but there is one on another thread here, from Yotsuya, albeit not a very good one. They clear all the big brake kits and I have no rubbing problems with their ET50, Prodrive suspension and 215/40x17 tyres. Check Halfords (Ripspeed) on price - £149 inc VAT!
So far so good, but I've managed to buckle and flat-spot two by hitting a piece of wood (bit off a pallet, I think). It wasn't such a hard impact and I was really surprised and disappointed at the damage. They appear to bend rather easily and others have reported similar failings on here. Hardly conclusive I know, but that's my experience.
Aren't the Mims ET45? Too wide. Asking for trouble.
My favourite wheel of the moment is the Revolution Motorsport RZX, £163 in VAT from Scoobysport. 17x7in ET50 and only 8.5k. They look just like the standard Scooby 5-spoke wheel and have so much brake clearance you can put your hand between the spoke and the caliper! Good cooling, and easy to clean. The widely spaced spokes really show your front brakes off a treat, but they make the rusty old standard rears look absolutely pants!
Richard.

thanks for the replies
i may go for the mims if they clear the AP calipers. i don't like the sound of how soft the R3 can be
. you should see some of the roads that i take every morning to work. !!
saying that some pics would have been lovely.
hoppy which post are you talking about ? do you have a link to it ?
cheers

Sam (and Hoppy)
We are getting the MiM's made in ET48 now.
I know its only 3mm, but this means a fully loaded UK car (with arch protectors) will not have any fouling problems.
The solution with ET45 (which I always used and loved) was to remove the rubber trim around the rear wheel arch. This trim seems completely superfluous as it is to the side of the tread area, not over it. This strip is not fitted to imported cars and these have no problems with ET45 wheels, nor do they end up with rusty/damaged rear arches.
Personally, I love the extra feedback that a 45 to 50 ET wheel gives you.
