Question

Does anyone know/use/have wire mesh fitted in the lower front bumber (1994 WRX). The air conditioning radiator is very exposed and I feel some sort of protection is a good idea. I may have to make something myself out of 'chickenwire' but don't want it to look like Homer Simpson made it.

I read somewhere that approaching air conditioning companies is a good source of this type of mesh. If you give them a size you want, they normally work out cheaper than buying from a car accessory store - although I have to say I haven't tried it myself.

I do know that Demon Tweeks do sell different types so this may be a good second option.

Thanks

Gavin

GGR do one, but its for MY99 on.
If anyone finds one that'll fit a MY98, I'm interested, as I've just paid £600 to get my aircon fixed after stone damage.

Cool

Hi all
I made a grill for my car that fits behind the number plate and fills up the whole grill area, I made it out of a mesh with little square holes and put a frame around it. I then painted it mat black so that it matches up with all the rest of the front,
ie grill, headlight cover carbon effect, orange (now matt black) thingy's, etc
It looks good and it only cost me about £20 and a few hours to make it. But I did have a welder and the abbility to to do it.
