Question about the nice SS AP/brembo 6 pot setup. I know it' needs 17's to fit under, but will it fit under the 17's of the new MY01 'new age' impreza? just curious as I'm smitten by those wheels and if I ever get a set I'd maybe also consider the SS kit, and thus it'd be nice if it fitted under those wheels.

We do 2 brake kits, the Brembo/AP 4 pot set up (as I have on my 01) and the AP 6 pot kit (fitted to my track car). The Brembo/AP kit uses a Brembo caliper and AP disc. This provides the best combination in this size and is designed to be used with Pagid pads.

Either set will fit under the 01 17's and the Brembo/AP kit will also fit under 16's which makes them more popular with our track day customers as 16" slicks are very cheap.

If you plan on Track use with road tyres, will the 4 pot set up provide good braking performance coupled with a respectable component life? Or put another way, will you only see the benifits of 6-pots with slick tyres?

How much is the AP/Brembo 4 pot set up?
Can the disc be used with the standard 4 pot caliper,or is it bigger?
Can the caliper be used with the standard disc....only curious,as there could be options there to spread the cost!!

Just buy the 6 pots, they change the way you can drive your scoob!
