Default Converting bugeye to blobeye?

I know its been done because I've seen 'em, but tried doing a search on here to no avail. Has anyone here converted a 2001 type Impreza to the 2003 front end? I am wanting to know, apart from the obvious panels being changed, are there any other hidden items required (crossbars, headlamp mountings etc etc)? Any info would be much appreciated.

Hi m8 don't know who does them but if you get a copy of Top Marques you will see some in there. Most of them are @ dealers in Scotland. You could give them a bell, they might tell you where the conversion was done at.

Good luck

Tim..

I would say you need:

1/ New bonnet
2/ New wings
3/ New slam panel
4/ The lights
5/ Wheel arch liners
6/ Radiator mounts?
7/ Paint for the panels
8/ Labour to carry out all of the above

Looks like it would be cheaper to trade in and buy an ex demo or used MY03

If a used blob eye STi is approx £20K (JDM) and a used bug eye STi can be had for £14.5K, then 1500 squids should see the conversion done .
I have my reasons for wanting to do it, but was worried there was more to it than meets the eye. I forgot to mention I was talking about STi models.

I am impartial (non-Scooby owner).

I think the Bug-eye is a nice looking car. The blob eye is ugly. Just my opinion.
