Question Worth a warranty claim???

Just had a service at the local subaru dealer. They told me there was a small oil leak on the back of the engine (but it was really noting to worry about). When i asked what it required to sort it out i was told that the whole engine and gear box would have to be taken out. I told the dealer i am in the final month of my extended warranty and they said book it in and they will look at it. What costs would i be responsible for?

Alan.

it's either engine or gearbox and it's probably the breather plate behind the flywheel i always take the gearbox out as theres less fluids to mess with. book time is either 3.9 or 5.1hrs depending on model to replace the clutch so if you know their labour time it won't be to hard to work out there won't be any parts needed unless the clutch is contaminated as the plate is sealed by a liquid gasket.
