classic PPP upgrade

Default classic PPP upgrade

Me got a x reg 2000 uk classic with PPP and i have got a few questions.

Is it possilbe to upgrade the car further, whilst retaining the current benifits of the PPP or would this be made redundant?

Do Prodrive market a stage 2 or similar upgrade?

If i wanted to keep the car with the PPP, what would be the best changes i could make to increase performance i.e. filters etc. as i would not have a clue where to start?

Downpipe, decat centre, good quality panel filter.
Maybe pick up a cheap AE802 ECU (£70) and get it custom mapped at PE (about £650).
Sell the PPP ECU to fund it (probably worth £350)

PPP as you have is the only "official" performance u/grade.

By benefits I presume you mean warranty, so any unofficial u/grading will invalidate your warranty (technically).

The PPP already has a de-cat centre as part of the kit - the bulge is a resonator not a cat.

Panel filter will provide a minimal benefit and could lead to contamination of MAF sensor - K&N seems to be the best for NOT contaminating.

De-cat downpipe is the obvious choice, though this could adversely affect the fueling, so fit a KnockLink and a LambdaLink (recommended anyway as well as changing MAF annually).

The PPP ECU was not designed for a de-cat d/pipe, so question benefits of keeping it if you go that route as you are unlikely to get best performance with that ECU. Consider an ECU u/grade.

Avoid induction kits on MY99/00 as no real benefit and contaminate already fragile MAF.

After that, its FMIC and turbo u/grade time
