how can you tell if the commander will work with your apexi ecu, i thought they were all universal but someone has bought one and it will not work with his ecu???

thinking of buying it.

it has FC3020/02698 code on the side of it, since i will be using an apexi ecu for a 1999 year impreza will this commander work with this ecu

 

Even the 'experts' get this wrong from time to time Steve, there are actually 4 different commanders even although there are only 3 different ECU types
Confused ?.....you will be !
I suggest plugging it in to see if it reads before you buy it.

Or you could always get someone with the laptop software to map it for you

but andy i dont have the ecu yet, just found out some one selling a boost controller and commander.

he says i need to check to see it will fit the ecu i want

i see it as a way of getting the apexi stuff i want and not shelling out a fortune in one go

plus cheryl is offering the apexi ecu for my car for £475

 

steve, get the commander and boost controler with the ECU then you know it will work.

getting them from somwhere else is a bit of a risk to be honest
